Description:
The Pass It On Movement is here and celebrating 11 days of Global Unity from Sept 11-21, 2008!
This is a movement unlike anything our society has ever experienced, and it is gaining momentum by the hour. We, The World is proud to be part of this and we want everyone to learn about it.
The Pass It On Movement is unique as every individual can create their own version of a Pass It On Program and tailor it to their own vision, creativity and mission.
Our mission is that every student be given the opportunity to be a mentor and to have a mentor. This can be accomplished by having older students mentor younger students during class, or in after school programs. There are over 83,000 schools across the United States, with many more worldwide -there are no limits to the number of possibilities for programs.
Anyone can become a qualified WTW Director and contact schools or other organizations in their area and help them implement a Pass it On program. You can become a state, county, city, school district or classroom director. We have developed a website full of tools and resources that will help you put together your program, which can be anything from very simple to elaborate.
As a We, The World volunteer you will be able to advertise in your area on Volunteer Match to help you obtain other volunteers. Eventually they too can be in charge of their own Pass It On program based upon their talents and mission.
